7 years before James Bond set foot on the property, the place was used by another extraordinary gentleman. We're talking about none other than the Italian superhero Pumaman. In his book on Italian cinema, Howard Hughes described the film as "one of the worst superhero movies of all". Nevertheless, in addition to the filming location, Pumaman has another thing in common with 007, namely the villain played by Donald Pleasance, who also portrayed Ernst Stavro Blofeld in You Only Live Twice (1967).
