Dragon from Russia - HSBC Main Building

Sam Hui aka The Crying Freeman increases the bodycount in the middle of Central Hong Kong. I am not the biggest fan of wirework, but I really enjoy Dragon from Russia's floating wire-fu movements in this sharp-edged modern world setting. HSBC's cold structure is as videogenic as ever.

Dragon from Russia - St. John's Cathedral

Another mysterious encounter between Maggie Cheung and the masked killer Sam Hui. This time in front of St. John's Cathedral at Garden Road, Central HK. The church is the oldest surviving Western ecclesiastical building in Hong Kong, and the oldest Anglican church in the Far East.

Dragon from Russia - The Peninsula Hong Kong

The Pensinsula Hotel can be seen in many movies. Showing actors arriving and/or leaving there. But this time we get to see an intricate action scene in front of the famous building's entrance.

Dragon from Russia - Kowloon Park / Nathan Road

The film starts with a nice fightscene at the eastern entrance to Kowloon Park on Nathan Road. Yuen Tak and his opponent battle on the stairs and on the statue of hands by Van Lau.

The Iceman Cometh - Yau Yat Chuen Garden City Club

Maggie Cheung and Yuen Biao leave the distinctive Garden City Club building. You can see the same location in the closing scene of Twin Dragons (again with Maggie Cheung).

The Iceman Cometh - Hong Kong Cemetery

Yuen Biao is in hot pursuit of Yuen Wah. A part of this manhunt was filmed at the Hong Kong Cemetery, which is located at Happy Valley.
