Dragon from Russia - HSBC Main Building

Sam Hui aka The Crying Freeman increases the bodycount in the middle of Central Hong Kong. I am not the biggest fan of wirework, but I really enjoy Dragon from Russia's floating wire-fu movements in this sharp-edged modern world setting. HSBC's cold structure is as videogenic as ever.

Another mysterious encounter between Maggie Cheung and the masked killer Sam Hui. This time in front of St. John's Cathedral at Garden Road, Central HK. The church is the oldest surviving Western ecclesiastical building in Hong Kong, and the oldest Anglican church in the Far East.

The Pensinsula Hotel can be seen in many movies. Showing actors arriving and/or leaving there. But this time we get to see an intricate action scene in front of the famous building's entrance.

Aces Go Places - Wing On Plaza

Sam Hui rides down the moving stairways at Wing On Plaza in Tsim Sha Tsui East. Three years later, Jackie Chan would use the very same location for the final fight in Police Story.

Aces Go Places III - Our Man from Bond Street - Sun Hung Kai Centre

Once again, Sam Hui's character King Kong (or a dummy) doing some zip-lining. This time at Sun Hung Kai Centre in Wan Chai.

In another scene, we see Karl Maka getting out of a taxi in front of Sun Hung Kai Centre's distinctive fountain which is located right below Sam Hui's zip-line. The same location has been used in Outlaw Brothers.
